Program Description
What does Vietnam look like when its story is told through bamboo, music and acrobatics? Find out during a memorable evening in Ho Chi Minh City, combining A O SHOW, also known as the Vietnamese Bamboo Circus, with panoramic sightseeing from the upper deck of a double-decker bus. The performance takes place at the Saigon Opera House, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic historic landmarks, before you see the illuminated city from a completely different perspective.
In the late afternoon, your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel or an agreed location in the city centre. You will then enjoy A O SHOW, where acrobatics, contemporary dance, live traditional music and creative bamboo props come together to tell a story of Vietnam. The performance explores the contrast between peaceful village life and the energy of the modern city, using movement, music and bamboo as its main forms of expression.
After the performance, walk to the double-decker bus stop directly opposite the theatre. From the upper deck, you will travel through the main streets of central Ho Chi Minh City, taking in the city’s distinctive architecture and urban landscape.
As night falls, Saigon takes on a completely different character. During the ride, you will see illuminated landmarks and buildings in the city centre, experiencing Ho Chi Minh City from a perspective that brings its historic and modern sides together.
