Dalyan from Marmaris - Mud Baths and İztuzu Beach

Discover one of the most unique places on the south-western coast of Turkey and spend a day surrounded by nature, history and remarkable landscapes. Dalyan is a protected area that impresses with its tranquillity, unspoilt scenery and a unique mix of experiences – from mud baths to ancient rock-cut tombs.

Your day begins with a hotel pick-up and a transfer towards Dalyan. Along the way, you will notice how the landscape changes – this region is known for its wide delta, lush greenery and untouched nature. One of the first stops will be a visit at Ley Ley restaurant, where you will get a taste of local flavours and the atmosphere of the region.

Next, you will head to the famous mud baths, one of Dalyan’s top attractions. You will have the chance to cover yourself in mineral-rich mud and enjoy this natural spa experience. The distinctive sulphur smell may surprise you at first, but you will quickly get used to it. It’s a fun and light-hearted moment – perfect for photos and unforgettable memories.

During the day, there will also be a break for lunch, giving you time to relax before continuing the tour.

You will then see the impressive Lycian rock tombs, carved high into the cliffs. These ancient burial sites are a fascinating reminder of the region’s history and are truly spectacular from a distance. You will hear interesting facts about them and have free time to take photos.

The final stop is the famous İztuzu Beach, one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in the area. It is also a protected nesting site for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles. You will have time to relax and enjoy a swim, while respecting the rules that help protect this delicate ecosystem.

After a day full of experiences, you will return to your hotel with memories of one of Turkey’s last unspoilt natural paradises.
