Program Description

You will set off on a journey early in the morning, which will take you to the colourful and surprising corners of Thailand.

The first stop is Talad Rom Hup, a market with a railway track running right through its centre. Train passes literally between stalls selling vegetables, fruits, and spices. Moments before its arrival, vendors skillfully fold up their umbrellas and stalls.

Next, you will visit the Damnoensaduak Floating Market. Merchants sell fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts directly from the deck of wooden boats. If you wish, you can try local dishes straight from one of the "floating restaurants."

Afterwards, you will travel to the Kanchanaburi province, where an extraordinary experience awaits you - a visit to an elephant sanctuary. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, you will get to know these majestic and gentle animals up close. You will learn about their habits, diet, and how to interact with them. You will have the opportunity to prepare snacks for the elephants, feed them, and even bathe with them in the mud and the River Kwai. This is one of those experiences that stays with you for a long time.

At the end of the day, you will visit the legendary bridge over the river Kwai. There will be time for photos and souvenir shopping at the market. In the evening, you will return to Hua Hin and your hotel.

Please note that the order of visits and the program may be subject to change.

This trip is a perfect choice for anyone looking to experience the spirit of Thailand without the rush and crowds. It started with a real "wow" factor at Talad Rom Hup. This market on the tracks is the most surreal place we`ve ever seen. Watching the traders fold their canopies and clear their goods in the blink of an eye before an oncoming train, only to return to selling a second later, is simply indescribable. It`s an incredible display of local discipline and the rhythm of life. The next stop, the floating market, is the perfect moment to sample local delicacies amidst the beautiful scenery of the canals. However, it was the elephant sanctuary that was the heart of the entire trip. The most impressive aspect is the ethical approach – here, we are guests in the elephants` world, not the other way around. Feeding the elephants, walking together to the mud spa, and watching them enjoy their baths is an experience that will remain with us forever. It`s clear that the animals are happy and cared for, which provides immense psychological comfort. To conclude the day, we visited the legendary Bridge over the River Kwai. It`s a place steeped in history and truly impressive to behold. Everything was perfectly organized: comfortable transportation, a wonderful guide with extensive local knowledge, and a delicious local lunch. This excursion is a must-do during your stay in Hua Hin!

A very interesting trip, not tiring. Very varied, with perfectly timed train departures, both at the railway market and at the bridge over the River Kwai. Although in the latter case, you supposedly have to be lucky to get a train on schedule. We were lucky. Encountering elephants is a fantastic experience that will remain in your memory for a lifetime. All the sightseeing spots are incredibly attractive. Patrycja, our guide, was wonderful.
