Program Description

Drive to Pinnawala - an elephant orphanage. Arrival in Kandy, lunch and tour of the former capital of Sri Lanka. The last capital of the Sinhalese kingdom, located in the Central Province, is a living example of the country's splendor. The program includes a tour of a tea factory and temple facilities, including a building built in the late 16th century that houses Sri Lanka's most important object: a sacred relic - a Buddha tooth.
