Program Description
Visit the Home Army Museum in Kraków and discover the story of Poland during the Second World War. Located in a former railway building, the museum offers a powerful insight into the history of the Polish Underground State and the Home Army – the largest underground resistance organisation in occupied Europe.
During your visit, you will explore a collection of documents, personal belongings and artefacts connected with soldiers and members of the resistance movement. Many exhibits were donated by the families of former soldiers and resistance members, offering a personal perspective on both military experiences and everyday life during wartime.
Each display reveals stories of courage, sacrifice and determination, highlighting the efforts of those who opposed Nazi occupation. The museum provides a deeper understanding of Poland's wartime history and the role of the people who fought to preserve freedom.
