Program Description

This tour takes you on a magical journey to the eastern side of Salalah. The first point is the picturesque beach in the town of Taqa. There you will find Taqa Castle, which is one of Dhofar's most prominent monuments, and a local beach. Drive to the Wadi Darbat river valley, which is stunning in its paradise-like appearance. Another excursion point is the Teeq cave and one of the world's deepest sinkholes, Tawi Ateer and Tayq. The sinkholes will be observed from above. The next point of the tour is the Jabal Samhan Nature Reserve. Time for photos and admiring the beautiful views. Finally, visit the ruins of the ancient city of Sumhuram, a UNESCO-listed site that once connected the Mediterranean with the Persian Gulf and India. Return to the hotel.
