Program Description
Visit the National Kiwi Hatchery in Rotorua and learn about efforts to protect one of New Zealand's most distinctive birds. Discover how eggs are incubated and chicks are cared for, and learn about the kiwi's role in New Zealand.
During your visit, see kiwi in a specialised nocturnal environment and learn more about conservation efforts through informative displays and presentations.
