Program Description

Contemporary art surrounded by forests, rolling hills and natural springs - Europos Parkas is a place where museum exhibitions move beyond traditional gallery walls and into the Lithuanian countryside. Located approximately 17 km from Vilnius, the park invites you to wander among more than 90 works of art from 27 countries and explore them at your own pace.

Europos Parkas was founded in 1991 by Lithuanian sculptor Gintaras Karosas. Spread across 55 hectares, the collection includes sculptures, installations and other examples of contemporary art, creating a distinctive space where artistic expression blends with the natural landscape.

As you walk through the park, artworks appear among the trees, across green hills and in peaceful natural surroundings. Instead of traditional museum halls, you will experience an open-air gallery, where nature becomes part of the artistic experience.

The park is located at what is described as the geographical centre of Europe, adding to its international character. It is an excellent choice for contemporary art enthusiasts as well as anyone looking for a peaceful cultural experience outside central Vilnius.
