Program Description
Discover Hiroshima and Miyajima Island, two destinations known for their rich cultural and historical heritage. This tour combines a visit to one of Japan's most distinctive shrines with important sites connected to Hiroshima's history.
First, take a ferry to Miyajima Island, home to Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its most recognisable feature is the floating torii gate, which appears to rise from the water at high tide.
Explore the island's historic temples and traditional streets, and see deer roaming freely around the area. You can also try local specialities such as oysters and momiji manju (at your own expense).
If the selected option includes Hiroshima, continue to Peace Memorial Park after visiting Miyajima. See the Atomic Bomb Dome and other memorials dedicated to those affected by the 1945 atomic bombing.
The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.

For Hiroshima and Miyajima, meet at Hiroshima Station Shinkansenguchi Bus Berth.
For Miyajima only, meet at Hiroshima Station Hiroden-Miyajimaguchi Station.
