Discover the most beautiful corners of Skyros during a full-day excursion filled with picturesque landscapes, local flavours and the peaceful atmosphere of a Greek island. Throughout the trip, You will explore the island’s diverse scenery - from bays surrounded by pine and cedar trees to a traditional harbour and places connected with local culture and nature.
During the excursion, You will visit some of the most charming beaches on Skyros, including Kyra Panagia, Atsitsa, Agios Fokas and Acherounes. The combination of turquoise sea and lush greenery perfectly reflects the island’s calm and authentic character. Along the way, there will be an opportunity to stop for traditional Greek coffee or try local ouzo served with meze.
One of the highlights of the tour will be the panoramic viewpoint near Agios Panteleimonas Chapel, overlooking Pefkos Bay and the southern part of the island. It is a perfect place to admire the natural beauty of Skyros from a different perspective.
A longer stop is planned at Acherounes Beach, where You will have free time to relax, swim in the sea or enjoy lunch in a local taverna. Sunbeds and umbrellas are also available on the beach. During the stop, You may also learn interesting facts about the island and receive aromatic herbs as a small local gift.
The excursion also includes a visit to Linaria, the main port of Skyros. Walking around the area, You will see fishing boats and yachts, browse local shops and visit the church of Agios Nikolaos. The route also passes through the area of Kalamitsa, known for its sandy beach and peaceful coastline.
At the end of the trip, You will visit Mouries Farm, home to the famous Skyrian horses. This rare breed is one of the island’s symbols and has attracted animal lovers from around the world for many years.
