Program Description

Set off on a scenic journey along the Adriatic coast to the Pelješac Peninsula, one of the most picturesque regions of southern Croatia. This tour combines history, breathtaking landscapes and local flavours, giving you the chance to discover places full of Mediterranean charm.

Your first stop will be Ston - a small historic town famous for its traditional salt pans and impressive defensive walls. It is home to one of the longest fortified wall systems in the world, second only to the Great Wall of China. A short stroll through the town will allow you to soak up the atmosphere of this fascinating destination.

Next, you will travel to Orebić, where you will board a ferry to the island of Korčula. Covered with dense pine forests, the island was known in ancient times as Korkyra Melaina, meaning “Black Korčula”. This name referred to the dark forests visible from the sea, which remain one of the island’s most distinctive features. The island’s greatest attraction is the medieval town of Korčula, surrounded by defensive walls and often referred to as “Little Dubrovnik”.

During your free time, you can wander through narrow stone streets, charming squares and historic buildings that have preserved their unique character for centuries. The town is also closely linked to Marco Polo, the famous explorer and traveller, who according to local tradition was born on Korčula.

On the return journey, you will stop on the Pelješac Peninsula, a region renowned for producing some of Croatia’s finest wines. Enjoy a local wine tasting experience, where you will discover the flavours of the region and learn about winemaking traditions passed down through generations. It is the perfect opportunity to explore one of Croatia’s most respected wine regions and end the day in true Mediterranean style.
