Program Description
Discover the most interesting places of Gran Canaria in a single day on this comprehensive tour. It’s a perfect way to explore the island’s diverse landscapes – from dramatic viewpoints to charming towns and lush vegetation.
The tour begins with a stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Fataga Gorge, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Palms, offering picturesque scenery. You will then visit an aloe plantation, where you can learn more about this unique plant.
Next, head to the Degollada de Becerra viewpoint, with panoramic views of some of the island’s most iconic landmarks – Roque Bentayga, Roque Nublo (the second highest peak) and Pico de las Nieves (the highest point of Gran Canaria at 1,949 metres above sea level).
The programme also includes a stop at Cruz de Tejeda, considered the geographical centre of the island. On clear days, you may even see Mount Teide on Tenerife.
There will be a break for lunch near Valleseco, followed by a visit to the charming town of Teror, home to the famous Basilica of Our Lady of the Pine.
The order of the itinerary and the programme may be subject to change.
