Program Description

walk through downtown Toronto awaits you, offering a close-up look at the city’s history and architecture. This experience is perfect if you want to combine sightseeing with local atmosphere and explore the most important landmarks at a relaxed pace, in a small-group setting.

The tour begins at Union Station, one of the city’s most important transportation hubs. You will learn how this impressive building shaped the development of Toronto and why it remains the city’s beating heart today. As you stroll through downtown streets, you will admire elegant hotel façades and office towers that define the character of the city centre.

One of the highlights of the route is a walk through parts of the PATH network - Toronto’s underground city. You will discover modern passageways, public art, and learn how locals move around downtown comfortably in every season. Along the way, you will pass the Hockey Hall of Fame and stop at Brookfield Place, where the striking glass atrium showcases Toronto’s modern architectural style.

The tour also includes free time at St. Lawrence Market, a place long considered the culinary heart of the city. This is your chance to taste local Canadian specialities, browse artisan stalls, or enjoy fresh regional products at your own pace.

The walk continues through the charming streets of Old Town toward Berczy Park, known for its iconic fountain and views of historic brick warehouses set against Toronto’s modern skyline. As you approach the waterfront, you will take in views of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, including the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, and Harbourfront Centre.

The walking tour ends at the Toronto City Cruises dock, where you can take a one-hour cruise to see downtown Toronto from a different perspective and sail to the Toronto Islands (additional fee).

The order of sightseeing and the program may be subject to change.
