Program Description
Melbourne Museum is a fascinating place to explore Australia’s history, culture and natural environment through extensive collections and engaging exhibitions. The displays cover everything from the country’s past and its people to native wildlife and unique ecosystems.
One of the museum’s most impressive exhibits is Horridus – an exceptionally well-preserved Triceratops skeleton regarded as one of the finest specimens of its kind in the world. The museum is also home to the award-winning First Peoples exhibition, dedicated to the culture and history of Australia’s Indigenous communities.
Another highlight is the Forest Gallery – a living space inspired by a southern rainforest and home to a variety of Australian birds, reptiles and amphibians.

- Children aged 0–16 can enter free of charge but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- The Pauline Gandel Children’s Gallery is included with museum admission, subject to availability. Please check with the front desk upon arrival.
