Program Description
Embark on a scenic cruise along one of the most spectacular stretches of the Albanian coastline and discover places that can only be reached by sea. Crystal-clear waters, hidden coves and fascinating history make this an unforgettable experience on the Albanian Riviera.
After hotel pick-up, you'll travel to the port and board your boat for a cruise to Sazan Island. Once a restricted military zone, the island is now known for its unspoilt landscapes and the remains of an abandoned settlement, often referred to as the "Ghost Town."
The journey continues along the beautiful Karaburun Peninsula, famous for its secluded coves, dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters. There will be time to relax, sunbathe and enjoy a refreshing swim.
You'll also cruise to the area of the impressive Haxhi Aliu Cave, one of the Albanian Riviera's most spectacular natural attractions. Weather permitting, the boat will approach the cave so you can admire it from the sea (the boat does not enter the cave).
After the cruise, return to the port and transfer back to your hotel.
The tour programme includes sites located within a UN base area and may therefore be subject to changes due to military exercises.

Everything`s fine. Time on Sazan Island is a bit short. In my opinion, a trip to this island should be a separate one, not combined with the Karaburun Peninsula.
The trip was well-organized, with beautiful views, a comfortable journey, and good food. The only downside was that the Ithaca guide rushed so much on Sazam Island that older people and children were left behind. By the time we reached the halfway point, the guide was already turning around and rushing us, not providing any information about the sites. It`s impossible to walk at a fast pace in this 36-degree heat.
