The route leads through picturesque vineyards and traditional wine villages . Along the way, charming mountain landscapes, stone-built settlements, and vast Troodos forests reveal themselves, offering enchanting panoramic views. The first stop is Troodos Square, where there is free time for a coffee break and a moment of relaxation surrounded by nature. Afterwards, there is a stop at the highest viewpoint in the Troodos range, providing a completely different perspective of the island.

The next highlight is a visit to Kykkos Monastery, the most famous and one of the wealthiest monasteries in Cyprus, with origins dating back to the early 11th century. It is an important pilgrimage site, renowned for the icon of the Virgin Mary, traditionally believed to have been painted by the Evangelist Luke himself. Free time nearby allows for a walk in the surroundings or lunch in a unique mountain setting.

On the return journey, the route passes through forested areas of Troodos and includes a visit to Chryssoroyiatissa Monastery, beautifully situated among vineyards and rolling hills. The day concludes with a local wine tasting at a traditional winery on the way to Pafos – a perfect ending to a trip filled with scenery, history, and authentic Cypriot flavors.
