Program Description

Pickup from hotels in Mui Ne. Stop for breakfast at your own expense. Explore Vinh Trang Pagoda – an example of a blend of Chinese, Vietnamese, Khmer, and European architecture. Then enjoy a private boat cruise on the Mekong River with stops at the islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix. Tour a local coconut candy workshop – observe the production process and enjoy a tasting. Wander through a tropical fruit orchard accompanied by traditional Southern Vietnamese music. Take a rowboat ride through the narrow delta canals (4-5 people per boat). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Dong Tam snake farm – learn about snake breeding, watch a venom extraction demonstration, and explore a museum housing many snake species. Return to hotels in Mui Ne.
