Day 1:
We will depart from the hotels early in the morning and drive through the scenic Taurus Mountains. On the way, we will stop at a wine shop. Our first major stop will be Salda Lake, often called the "Turkish Maldives" because of its clear turquoise water and white sandy shores. Then, we will visit Kaklık Cave in Denizli, known as the "Underground Pamukkale" due to its unique travertine formations. In the evening, we will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
Early in the morning, guests who have purchased the optional balloon ride will participate in the balloon flight experience. After breakfast, we will begin our visit to Pamukkale. First, we will stop at a panoramic viewpoint to enjoy and photograph the stunning white travertine terraces. Then, we will walk barefoot through the warm water basins and take in the beauty of this natural wonder. Next, we will explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, located right next to the travertines. Pamukkale and Hierapolis have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotels.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from the main entrance to the center of the ancient city of Pamukkale. This route is not suitable for guests using wheelchairs.
