What to expect
4x4 desert safari, visiting the "lost city" of Ubar, an ancient site, once an important centre of frankincense trade, discovered by archaeologists in 1992. Jeep drive through the desert Rub Al. Khali, a huge sandy plain known from archaeological sites. On the way, the opportunity to see the town of Thumrait and Wadi Dawkah - an incense tree plantation.
