Program Description

This tiny islet located in the depths of the bay of the same name is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Crete. Free time (approx..3h) on Elafonisi separated from the mainland by a very shallow sea. It is possible to reach by walking on the sandy bottom. Drive to Chrysoskalitissa Monastery, then visit in a small traditional shop with local products – honey, honey based products, cheese, olives and wine which you can taste and buy as a souvenirs. A pleasant end to the day is the visit to the local winery which includes tour of the winery cellar and visit in a museum. This is a great occasion to try local products - cheese, olives and wine.

A very well-planned trip, with plenty of time at the beach and interesting attractions on the way back. The opportunity to visit a winery and have a tasting was very enjoyable :)

The trip was well organized, beautiful views along the way, the beach is wonderful, and you can buy local products during the tasting. The only downside is that there is definitely too much ...

Everything was as planned. The greatest asset was the guide. She was incredibly passionate and provided very interesting information about the island.
