The tour starts in Omišalj - which dates back to the 3rd century and is one of the oldest towns on the island of Krk. This is the first town you will see after crossing the Krcki bridge from the steady land. It is built on a rock at an altitude of about 80 m above sea level overlooking the Kvarner bay. Omisalj preserved its medieval urban structure and charming centre with narrow streets accessible only to pedestrians. Then drive to the city of Krk, which is the capital of the island and the main centre of activity in the region. The old part of Krk is surrounded by 2000-year-old fortified walls. Walk through Kaplin Square, the Frankopanese Castellany, which hosts many cultural events and an old town, the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Continue to Vrbnik, located on a cliff from where you will enjoy beautiful views of the cathedrals, narrow winding streets, ruins of towers and vineyards from which one of the most famous wines of Vrbnička žlahtina is produced. The most famous churches include the Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1325 and the Chapel of St. John, as well as the Renaissance bell tower. Time for tasting wine and local cheese. Return to the hotel.
