This half-day excursion invites you to discover La Boquilla, a small fishing village located just a few minutes from Cartagena, offering a completely different perspective of the city. Known for its vibrant Caribbean culture and humble roots, La Boquilla is home to one of Cartagena’s most underprivileged communities yet holds some of the most authentic experiences for travelers.


Begin your journey with a traditional pirogue ride through the mangroves, where natural tunnels create a serene atmosphere and migratory birds gather before sunset. Along the way, you will learn about the history of the community and the richness of this unique ecosystem. More than a simple visit, this experience immerses you in the essence of the Caribbean, combining nature, culture, and tradition in a setting far from the city’s tourist bustle.
