Berat is one of the oldest cities of Albania, also part of UNESCO heritage since 2008. It is famous for its characteristic architecture, which has also given to the city the name ‘the city of 1001 windows’. Visit to the Castle, build over the hills of the city, to the lovely painted Bachelors Mosque- formerly the Sylejman Pasha Mosque and to the Tekke of the Helvetis-Cultural Monument of Albania. Later proceed to the oldest quarter in the city- Mangalemi. In the end visit to the Gorica bridge. It is one of the oldest and most popular Ottoman bridges in Albania. It connects two parts of Berat. It was originally built from wood in 1780 and was rebuilt with stone in the 1920s. Afterwards visit at Çobo Winery where you can taste traditional Albanian wine and see the wine production procedure.
