How do I book an optional excursion?

You choose an excursion, check the available dates, and pay online. As soon as payment goes through, you get instant booking confirmation along with an e-voucher, with nothing to print or pick up on-site.

Can I pay in my own currency, or only on-site in the local currency?

You choose the currency you'll pay in at the top right of the page. Payment is made online at the time of booking.

Does the excursion operator carry liability insurance?

SeePlaces works only with vetted operators and requires them to hold the appropriate licenses and insurance. We also recommend that participants take out their own individual travel insurance.

How does the safety of an excursion booked through an operator differ from one bought "on the street"?

Every excursion offered through SeePlaces has a clearly identified provider, and the contract is made between you and that provider through the platform. You know upfront who's running the excursion, what the terms are, and what it costs, before you pay.

Can I cancel a booked excursion and get my money back?

What's the difference between an excursion bought through SeePlaces and one already included in my package?
